Hoshi loved her Thursday classes, even if Fandom Invasions managed to find new ways of scaring her each week. (Trolls? Seriously?) Meanwhile, the discussion about mastering one's emotions in Ethics reminded her of how soothing Vulcan meditation was.

The meditation would go a little easier if there was a puppy who couldn't understand it wasn't playtime. He kept bring a rubber ball over to there Hoshi was sitting in lotus position on the floor. "Pst, Porthos. I need peace here," said Hoshi. "Play ball we can later."

[Linkdrop, but door and post are open.]

Yesterday had been an emo overload for Hoshi. First her discussion with Annette, and then Jack, and finally Ino. Even with Martial Arts Club in between, Hoshi felt a little overwhelmed by the sheer amount of emo.

Which is why she wrote, "This is an emo-free zone," on a piece of paper and stuck it on the door. Then she sat on the spare bed in a half-lotus position, closed her eyes, and tried to let go of the things that were bothering her.

The door was closed, but anyone knocking on it better not bring any emo with them.

[Establishy, but the post is open for visitors of the non-emo variety.]
