Hoshi's Quarters, San Francisco, Sunday

Hoshi was bored out of her mind.
Sure, her Starfleet training was going much better the second time around. She hadn't gotten into arguments over poker games or broken any arms. But maybe that was due to being on probation. When she wasn't on duty, she was confined to her quarters. There was no going to the 602 Club with the other cadets and officers on the weekends. She couldn't even go over to Captain Archer's apartment to see Porthos. At least they'd let her keep Four-Dee. There was no way Hoshi was giving up the last thing she had left from her relationship with Hurley.
But as tough as it was, Hoshi figured that she'd been through worse. She was willing to stick it out because she knew that life in Starfleet had to get better once she was off of probation.
