Hoshi's Quarters, Wednesday

Overall, it seemed that Hoshi made a good choice when she moved out of her apartment and into a university dorm room. The commute was much shorter, and she had plenty of opportunities to socialize with her classmates.
However, the lack of a proper kitchen was a huge disadvantage. Today, Hoshi was craving soba noodles made according to her grandmother's recipe. The only flat surfaces in her quarters were the desk and the top of the dresser, but neither had enough space to properly roll out the dough. And without a stove, she had to resort to boiling the noodles over a hot plate that took forever to heat up.
"No wonder the restaurants around here are always so busy. It's not like they expect students to cook under these conditions," she grumbled to herself. She was almost tempted to give up and head out to get food, but there was no way that any of the local restaurants would have anything similar to soba noodles.
