Cuddly Wuggly Bunny A-1, Sunday evening

Before getting settled in the cabin for the night, Hoshi had taken Porthos for a walk. They must have strayed too close to the preserve, though, because a kangaroo appeared out of nowhere. Hoshi had never seen a kangaroo on the island before. Porthos hadn't seen a kangaroo, period, and before Hoshi could get him under control, he took off chasing it. They were both a lot faster than Hoshi, and it was a while before she managed to catch Porthos.

Now, a very tired Hoshi was sitting in her alcove, scowling and pulling twigs out of her hair, while Porthos was sleeping like a baby at the end of her bunk.
