Room 423, Monday after classes [2/18]

There was only so much socializing that Hoshi could stand before needing a little quiet time. And after a very busy Friday and Saturday, Hoshi pretty much disappeared into her room for the remainder of the weekend.

So after her mythology class, Hoshi was back in her room, making a pot of green tea to enjoy while she went over the handouts from class. The door was open, though, if anyone dropped by.

[The post is open too.]

Annette groaned. "Oh, Hoshi, I don't want to hurt his feelings but I'm not ready for anything serious. I'm not even ready for what I already gave him."

Hoshi decided not to ask what Annette had given him. "Well, maybe he's not ready for anything serious either," she suggested. "But it's Jack, though. Who knows what he's thinking? I could never figure him out."

"I think I have him basically pegged, Hoshi. He's nice, sweet, kind, caring, and he likes to get a girl in bed."

The last part was a bit of a surprise to Hoshi. "Wow," she said. "Um, he's never tried that with me."

Annette blushed and handed Hoshi her mug. "I better go."

"Okay," said Hoshi. "Thanks for letting me know that Ino was upset with me. If you ever have any trouble with Jack, let me know and I'll see if I can talk some sense into him."

"Thank you, Hoshi, and thanks for the tea," she said, feeling like a coward and an idiot. "Talk to you later!" And she hurried on out.
