Room 423, early Monday morning [3/3]
Hoshi was half asleep when Porthos started chewing on one of her shoes. The shoe didn't give in easily. It let out a loud yelp, which scared the puppy and sent him running while also waking up Hoshi.
"Was that you making all that noise?" she asked Porthos. "Guess it's time to wake up. I need to walk you anyway before class, and... Were you chewing on my shoe?"
The shoe gave a pitiful whimper in response. Porthos retreated to his doggie bed and sulked.
[Door closed, post open.]
